A Place to Think

Bard High School Early College (BHSEC) Baltimore is a four-year public school that allows students to take a two-year, tuition-free college course of study in the liberal arts and sciences following the 9th and 10th grades. BHSEC students graduate with a high school diploma and up to 60 Bard college credits and an associate's degree.

THE FIRST ADMISSIONS OPEN HOUSE FOR 2017-18: The first admissions open house for the 2017-18 school year will take place Wednesday, October 12th, 2016, 5 p.m. at 2801 N. Dukeland Street, Baltimore, MD 21216. The open house will include a presentation, a Q&A, a student writing assessment, and interview signup. This year, we are recruiting a 125 student 9th grade class and a small group of transfer students into our 10th grade as well as our Year 1 and Year 2 early college classes.

Applying

The BHSEC Baltimore application includes an individual interview and an academic assessment. BHSEC seeks students who demonstrate academic ambition and intellectual curiosity. Register for admissions open house below to learn more about the school and sit for our admissions process.
