The Open House for the 2019-20 school year was held on October 18th at 5:30pm.  
All open house sessions take place at 2801 N. Dukeland Street, Baltimore, MD 21216. The open house will include a presentation, a Q&A, a student writing assessment, and sign up for an interview at a later date. This year, we are recruiting a 125 student 9th grade class and a select number of transfers into the 10th, Year 1, and Year 2.

The BHSEC Baltimore application process includes an individual interview and writing assessment. BHSEC seeks students who demonstrate academic ambition and intellectual curiosity.

We require all applicants to attend an admissions open house to learn more about the school. At the Open House students will learn more about the school from administrators, faculty, and students. They will also complete a writing assessment at the Open House. Then, we ask students to sign up for a time at a later date to sit for an individual interview with a member of our admissions team. In total, the application consists of an admissions contact information form, an individual interview, and writing assessment.
