Check the Department of Education&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schools.nyc.gov\/enrollment\/enroll-grade-by-grade\/high-school\">website<\/a> for deadline information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"about-the-assessment-and-rubric-components\">About the Assessment and Rubric Components<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025-2026 BHSEC Assessment was created and developed by the BHSEC faculty and administration to assess applicants writing, thinking, and interest in an early college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There are three parts to the assessment: a math test, writing assessment and an interview. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will be given 1.5 hours to complete the assessment.
