We believe that Bard DC is a place to THINK…and a place to THRIVE!  The vision of the Bard DC Student Support Team is that all Bard DC staff and students can achieve personal, professional, and academic success through the acquisition and practice of social-emotional skills in the school building, in the community, and in the home.  Simply stated, we strive to be Social & Emotional Learning live by the year 2025!  Our student activities support this Social & Emotional growth of our students and our staff.

Community Service Opportunities

Community service opportunities for the 2019-20 school year

All Bard DC students should be actively engaged in community service.  All students must accumulate a minimum of 25 hours of community service EVERY year as a DCPS and Bard DC expectation. If students may need support they can reach out to Brian Massey in room A112, by email at, or check out the Student Activities Website
