The Center for Learning and Writing oversees tutors in writing as well as all content areas.
Writing tutors will offer tutoring three semesters (Spring Year One, Fall & Spring Year Two), attend three workshops over three semesters (2 offered per semester) through the global Writing Center Network, and participate in a Writing Center Practicum with Dr. Adley in Year Two. This culminates in a Writing Center Certification and One College Credit.
Content-area peer tutors are Year One and Year Two students who provide crucial support to all students at BHSEC in the content area(s) of their choice. Peer tutors will meet one-on-one with students, in addition to additional opportunities to visit classes and provide in-class support.
