Judy Ryan Hall is a writer and teacher of writing and literature. She has taught at high schools, universities, and workshops all over New Jersey for over twenty years. Her novel, Max Runs, was released in 2019 by Eliezer Tristan Publishing and deals with issues of mental illness and suicide in children and adults. She is also a huge advocate for the transgender community and has written extensively about it. Her work appears in newspapers, journals, magazines and anthologies. Her website is currently under construction! She is currently working on a YA novel, a memoir, and an academic paper about how writing narrative nonfiction helps STEM students grow.Professor Hall has three children, two cats and one husband and most of them reside in Montclair, NJ. She is a major Trekkie and loves to read, hike and, most of all, swim. She loves to travel, especially to Arizona, where much of her family resides. She has lived in Sudan, Germany, Iceland, New York and, best of all, New Jersey!
