In-person Open House Events<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

We welcome students, families and school counselors to learn more about Bard High School Early College Newark. We will be holding a number of in-person open house sessions in the coming weeks. These events will be held on-site at our school. Please register using the link below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interviews<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

An admissions interview with the student and written assessment is part of the admission process at BHSEC Newark. The interview provides an introduction of the student in personality, interest level, independence and interpersonal skills. Only students that meet our 3.0 GPA admissions criteria will be invited to interview.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students must have completed BOTH the Newark Enrolls<\/strong><\/a> application and the Bard application<\/strong><\/a> along with legible report cards from BOTH current school year and last school year. **The Bard application is not the same as the Newark Enrolls application.**<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
