However, Student Ambassadors will also be leading tours for 8th graders and their families on the following November dates (all from 4 \u2013 5pm):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wednesday, November 4th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Friday, November 13th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday, November 18th<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You DO NOT need to RSVP for these tours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note: our address is 30-20 Thomson Avenue but the entrance is at the rear of the building (off the parking lot). Bard Queens is on the 6th floor.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attending an open house or tour is not a requirement for admission to BHSEC. This resource will help you plan your visit in advance and explain how to access the building, what to expect when you enter, and who to ask for assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Director of Admissions Ari Braverman at abraverman@bhsec.bard.edu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students requiring special education services can expect the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-9eb43623-9e10-4c09-a2b9-f8629f486d44\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal attention and small class sizes for all students (typically ranging from 20-24 students)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New ICT classes, an engaging curriculum, and the opportunity to earn college credit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-house staff knowledgeable with IEPs, SE accommodations, and related services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A dedicated learning specialist who works with students on a range of academic support needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional support for writing and math through staff and peer tutoring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistive technology, and help with strengthening academic and social skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The InsideSchools website also offers a nice article with advice for visiting high schools.
