BardVERSE is an online journal of writing and thinking published at Bard High School Early College in Cleveland, Ohio. We are a team of students and professors excited by the ways language nudges us open to the immensity of ourselves and each other. We publish pieces that show the bravery, hard work, struggle, and joy of writing and thinking.
We publish a broad range of essays, from literary to personal and cultural essays. We also publish interviews with writers and readers, poetry, fiction, and works of art, such as photography and painting.
We take pride in publishing writing and art that spur us to live differently and better within ourselves and together as a community. We re-read and enjoy the work we’ve published on BardVERSE, and we are also eager to publish new pieces.
