Bard High School Early College DC (Bard DC) opened in August 2019 as a partnership between Bard College and the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). Bard DC seeks to demonstrate that an academically rigorous liberal arts and sciences program can intellectually engage a diverse group of high school students and effectively prepare them for success in college, careers, and civic life.
The Office of Admissions at Bard High School Early College DC is committed to recruiting motivated young adults who demonstrate motivation, intellectual curiosity, and excitement about an academic challenge, and who are eager to dive into college coursework at an earlier age.
