Nelly Lambert, PhD – Dean of Studies

As Dean of Studies and Assistant Principal, Nelly Lambert works alongside the principal to guide and support the academic program. Her days are spent training teachers in Bard’s signature Writing and Thinking pedagogical practices, supporting faculty and staff development, and guiding students’ journeys towards successful completion of the AA degree from Bard College.  For our course catalog, click here.  For information on high school and AA requirements, click here.

Liana Conyers, MFA – Associate Dean of Studies

In her role as Associate Dean of Studies, Liana Conyers supports faculty research and development, as well as student events and engagement with the arts. Such events include fashion and performances shows, as well as a monthly Dean’s Hour Speaker series, in which guest speakers ranging from artists to scientists to activists, present their work. Past speakers have included: J. Bouey, Brian Rogers, Mosi London, PhD., Liana Conyers, M.F.A, John Weinstein, PhD., Yawa Agbemabiese, PhD., Brian Gloor, PhD., and Michael Levy, PhD.

Arya Espahbodi, MA – Dean of Students
