As we approach the 25th anniversary of Bard Early College and reflect on Bard’s legacy of innovation in early college pedagogy, we’re asking ourselves – what does it really mean to move education forward? And, what role does Bard Early College play in that work?

The enclosed report tells the story of Bard Early College in 2025 and examines the role education plays in our rapidly changing world. We must think outside the traditional rules of engagement in the classroom to prepare our students for an ever-evolving future.

None of this work is done alone. It takes all of us—students, families, alumni/ae, educators, and partners—working together to build a strong school community.
