BHSEC gave Zawaad a platform to understand his needs as an individual outside of just being a student. He had the platform, space, and support to pursue his creative endeavors and education. BHSEC opened him up to difficult discussions, socializing with people with a variety of viewpoints and perspectives, and seeing the world through a lens other than his own.
